VORTEX. at the age of ten, undergoing an experimental Government procedure to control her actions and mind. Codenamed Vortex, for her ability to generate blackholes and dimensional pulls. Vortex was turned into a solider, using the reprogramming drug, the Government controlled the number of 'enhanced' humans, furthering the oppressive power of a Country craving domination.

Until the glitch. And Mercy, the woman underneath Vortex, was able to push through her programming. Along with the hundreds of other 'subjects', Mercy fled the Government facility of the Washington state, taking refuge throughout the Country and attempting to avoid detection. Two years on, and Mercy is still running, keeping one step ahead of the 'Sniffers' and 'Readers' through her own 'Destructive' powers, and allies in the dark.
